Current Banten Food Prices: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (15/10/2024) at 12.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are wheat flour (bulk), shallots, SPHP rice, pure beef, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, red chilies, medium rice, granulated sugar, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,920 (1.44%) to Rp134,950 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili experienced the steepest price drop of Rp2,070 (4.54%) to Rp43,520 per kg.
