Food Prices Thursday (16/10) D.I. Yogyakarta Region: Red Chili and Sugar Prices Decline

The prices of several food commodities in D.I. Yogyakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (16/10/2025) at 14:30 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include red cayenne pepper, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken meat, red onion, and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as whole garlic, packaged cooking oil, milkfish, bulk wheat flour, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chili commodity increased the most by Rp1,300 (2.56%) to Rp52,000 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish price dropped the sharpest by Rp853 (2.12%) to Rp39,455 per kg.

8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp35,500 per kg (up 0.08%)
9. Red Cayenne Pepper: Rp32,222 per kg (up 0.22%)
10. Whole Garlic: Rp30,160 per kg (down 0.11%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp30,000 per kg (up 0.16%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp19,717 per liter (down 0.27%)
