Today's Food Price Update in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onion Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Friday, December 8, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Friday (8/12/2023) at 14:17 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 3 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are packaged simple cooking oil, shallots, broiler chicken meat, dry soybean (import), and garlic cloves.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chili peppers, curly red chilies, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves experienced the highest price increase of Rp840 (2.64%) to Rp32,710 per kg. Curly red chilies had the lowest price decrease of Rp1,940 (2.82%) to Rp66,880 per kg.
