Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (25/9/2024) at 15.04 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, red chilies, milkfish, dry soybean (import), and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, premium rice, broiler chicken, red chili peppers, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, up by Rp420 (3.84%) to Rp11,350 per kg. Farmer-level corn saw the largest price decrease, down by Rp100 (1.94%) to Rp5,060 per kg.
