Absorption of the National Economic Recovery and Covid-19 Handling Budget (PC-PEN) is still suboptimal.
According to the Ministry of Finance, as of October 14, 2022, the budget realization was only Rp240.8 trillion, or 52.9% of the allocated budget of Rp455.62 trillion.
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati hopes that the PC-PEN budget can be disbursed effectively in the remaining time this year.
"We hope that in October, November, and December, spending can be accelerated so that its positive impact on our economy can be felt," said Sri Mulyani in the APBN Kita Press Conference, Friday (21/10/2022).
As of October 14, 2022, the realized PC-PEN budget for the health handling sector amounted to Rp40.6 trillion, or 33.1% of the allocated budget of Rp122.54 trillion.
The realization in this sector was used for patient claim payments of Rp25.1 trillion, health worker incentives of Rp2.7 trillion, vaccine procurement of Rp1.7 trillion, health tax incentives of Rp1.6 trillion, and APBD support including Village Funds for Covid-19 handling of Rp8.3 trillion.
Furthermore, the realization of the PC-PEN budget in the community protection sector has reached Rp109.3 trillion, or 70.7% of the allocated budget of Rp154.76 trillion.
The realization in this sector includes the disbursement of the Family Hope Program (PKH) assistance worth Rp21.4 trillion to 10 million beneficiary families (KPM), Sembako Cards of Rp32.9 trillion for 18.8 million KPM, Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for cooking oil of Rp7 trillion for 23.9 million recipients, BLT for fuel of Rp6.4 trillion for 20.65 million KPM, Kartu Prakerja of Rp12.8 trillion for 3.6 million participants, and BLT Village of Rp21.2 trillion for 7.5 million KPM.
There was also wage subsidy assistance that has been disbursed amounting to Rp5.1 trillion for 8.4 million workers, BT-PKLWN of Rp1.3 trillion disbursed by the Police to 683,000 recipients and disbursed by the TNI to 1.4 million recipients, and APBD support for Perlinmas units worth Rp1.2 trillion.
Finally, the PC-PEN realization in the economic recovery sector has reached Rp90.9 trillion, or 51% of the allocated budget of Rp178.32 trillion.
This realization includes labor-intensive programs worth Rp15 trillion, tourism and creative economy of Rp5.5 trillion, food security of Rp14 trillion, industrial estates of Rp900 billion, UMKM support (KUR and IJP subsidies) of Rp20.8 trillion, tax incentives of Rp13.3 trillion, and infrastructure and connectivity worth Rp11.5 trillion.
