Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Egg and Sugar Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, have increased today compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at 2:41 PM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities saw price increases and 4 saw decreases.

Commodities that experienced price increases include shallots, bulk wheat flour, red onions, milkfish, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, red chili peppers, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp2,500 (10.84%) to Rp25,570 per kg. Red chili peppers experienced the steepest price drop, falling by Rp1,070 (3.34%) to Rp30,990 per kg.
