Current Food Prices in Aceh: Oil Up, Rice Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today have been observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Monday (21/10/2024) at 10:30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 16 commodities increased in price and 3 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, iodized fine salt, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, skipjack tuna, and mackerel decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp580 (3.58%) to Rp16,790 per liter. Mackerel experienced the sharpest price drop, falling by Rp2,720 (6.05%) to Rp42,270 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 20 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas on October 21, 2024, at 10:30 WIB.

6. Red Onion: Rp31,500 per kg (up 1.12%)
7. Curly Red Chili: Rp28,380 per kg (up 2.6%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp27,440 per kg (down 2.73%)
9. Chicken Eggs: Rp25,450 per kg (up 1.48%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,900 per liter (up 3.34%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,230 per kg (up 0.33%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp16,790 per liter (up 3.58%)
