According to the official Asian Para Games website, Indonesia, previously ranked 7th, has dropped to 9th in the provisional standings as of Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at 7:45 PM WIB. The Indonesian contingent has won 12 medals: 3 gold, 4 silver, and 5 bronze.
Today, Indonesia added one gold medal and two silver medals. These additional medals were contributed by the para athletics and para powerlifting events.
In athletics, Ni Made Arianti Putri won a gold medal in the women's 100m T12 race. Eko Saputro won a silver medal in the men's 100m T12 race.
Another silver medal was contributed by Ni Nengah Widiasih, who won Indonesia's first medal in para powerlifting in the women's 45kg category.
The provisional medal standings are currently led by the host country, China, with 161 medals (64 gold, 52 silver, and 45 bronze).
Iran is in second place with 46 medals (16 gold, 19 silver, and 11 bronze), followed by Uzbekistan with 38 medals (12 gold, 12 silver, and 14 bronze).
