East Java Food Prices Tuesday (18/6): Salt Prices Rise, Chicken Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (18/6/2024) at 13:31 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium-grain rice, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, chicken eggs, mackerel, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,210 (24.69%) to Rp6,110 per kg. Milkfish prices saw the steepest decline, dropping Rp2,820 (8.43%) to Rp30,650 per kg.

9. Red Chili Peppers: Rp30,260 per kg (down 3.32%)
