Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jakarta today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (14/7/2024) at 13.41 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, pure beef, kembung fish, red chilies, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), chicken eggs, granulated sugar, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Kembung fish prices surged the highest by Rp2,080 (6.66%) to Rp33,330 per kg. Shallots prices decreased the most by Rp1,630 (3.64%) to Rp43,090 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Jakarta according to Bapanas on July 14, 2024, at 13.41 WIB.

4. Shallots: Rp43,090 per kg (down 3.64%)
5. Milkfish: Rp41,340 per kg (up 0.76%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp39,240 per kg (up 0.28%)
7. Red Onions: Rp38,900 per kg (down 3.35%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,760 per kg (up 0.93%)
9. Kembung Fish: Rp33,330 per kg (up 6.66%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,650 per kg (down 2.48%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp18,630 per kg (down 1.17%)
12. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,250 per liter (up 1.39%)
