Current Food Prices in Lampung: Prices of Chilies, Rice, and Onions Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (8/8/2024) at 08.01 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include wheat flour (bulk), granulated sugar, milkfish, red chilies, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, iodized fine salt, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel increased the most, by Rp4,430 (13.97%) to Rp36,150 per kg. The price of simple packaged cooking oil decreased the most sharply, by Rp860 (5.1%) to Rp16,000 per liter.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,170 per kg (down 0.84%)
