Lampung Food Price Update Today: Fish Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, December 2nd, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at 3:46 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 7 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, milkfish, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, red chili peppers, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp390 (1.37%) to Rp28,940 per kg. Red chili pepper prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp6,410 (8.34%) to Rp70,420 per kg.
