After reaching its lowest point on Friday, June 11, 2021, the Indonesian Rupiah's exchange rate against the US dollar continued its weakening trend from the previous day, a trend observed over the past week. The Rupiah was traded at Rp 14,414 per US dollar, weakening by 0.21 percent compared to yesterday. The current situation remains volatile within a similar range as nine days ago.

Over the past week, the Rupiah's exchange rate against the US dollar fluctuated within a range of Rp 36 per US dollar. The highest transaction was at Rp 14,414 per US dollar, and the lowest at Rp 14,378 per US dollar.

Over the past month, the Rupiah's exchange rate against the US dollar traded within a wider price range of Rp 230 per US dollar, with the lowest value at Rp 14,324 per US dollar.

Meanwhile, among the major currencies monitored by Bank Indonesia, the Rupiah's depreciation over the past week was highest against the US dollar, followed by the Papua New Guinean Kina, Saudi Riyal, Canadian dollar, and Hong Kong dollar.

Over the past month, the Rupiah's performance was most negatively impacted against the Japanese Yen, followed by the Swiss Franc, New Zealand dollar, British Pound, and US dollar.
