Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Egg, Beef, and Rice Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (29/12/2024) at 11:57 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), fine iodized salt, bulk cooking oil, mackerel fish, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp4,970 (7.66%) to Rp69,870 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of pure beef decreased the most by Rp1,980 (1.44%) to Rp135,500 per kg.
