Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Chili Padi Price Rises, Red Chili Price Drops

Prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (August 14, 2025) at 10:17 AM WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with price increases were red chili padi, pure beef, broiler chicken meat, consumption salt, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as medium rice, packaged wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, Minyakita, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili padi commodity jumped the highest by Rp1,405 (2.83%) to Rp51,111 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp6,319 (13.48%) to Rp40,556 per kg.

5. Curly Red Chili: Rp45.000 per kg (down 1.29%)
6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp43.750 per kg (unchanged)
7. Garlic Bulb: Rp43.111 per kg (down 0.96%)
8. Mackerel: Rp42.000 per kg (down 0.45%)
9. Large Red Chili: Rp40.556 per kg (down 13.48%)
10. Broiler Chicken Meat: Rp37.083 per kg (up 0.39%)
11. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28.769 per kg (up 0.36%)
12. Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp20.500 per liter (down 1.56%)
