Today's Food Prices in Jambi Region: Beef Prices Up, Cooking Oil Prices Down

Food prices in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Sunday (8/12/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dried soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, broiler chicken, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, fine iodized salt, Indian mackerel, red chilies, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,990 (2.89%) to Rp141,940 per kg. Indian mackerel experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,500 (4.26%) to Rp33,710 per kg.
