Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Onions Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, Special Region of Yogyakarta, today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (30/9/2024) at 17.44 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 4 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), broiler chicken, milkfish, red chili peppers, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Shallots experienced the highest price increase of Rp700 (2.95%) to Rp24,450 per kg. Red chili peppers experienced the steepest price decrease of Rp760 (2.44%) to Rp30,420 per kg.
