Food Prices in Jambi on Sunday (January 5th): What's the Price of Beef?

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (5/1/2025) at 17.52 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 5 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are shallots, mackerel, red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and red onions.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, skipjack tuna, milkfish, broiler chicken, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase, up by Rp4,000 (7.27%) to Rp58,990 per kg. Milkfish experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp520 (1.71%) to Rp29,970 per kg.
