Lampung Food Price Update Today: Salt Prices Rise, Chili Prices Fall (Saturday, March 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (16/3/2024) at 13:32 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, shallots, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, curly red chilies, red chili peppers, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel saw the highest increase of Rp1,240 (3.84%) to Rp33,550 per kg. The price of red chili peppers saw the lowest decrease of Rp9,090 (14.78%) to Rp52,400 per kg.

6. Indian Mackerel: Rp33,550 per kg (up 3.84%)
7. Chicken Eggs: Rp30,980 per kg (up 0.49%)
8. Shallots: Rp29,820 per kg (up 1.29%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,290 per kg (up 0.25%)
10. Milkfish: Rp27,550 per kg (down 1.29%)
