Latest Food Prices in West Java: Salt Up, Fish Down (Wednesday, December 27, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 11:21 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased in price and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, red chilies, chicken eggs, shallots, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, tongkol fish, curly red chilies, medium rice, and kembung fish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp220 (2.09%) to Rp10,740 per kg. Kembung fish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,760 (4.35%) to Rp38,660 per kg.
