Denpasar's Economy, the Largest in Bali in 2020

Denpasar City has the largest economy in Bali. The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recorded a Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices (ADHB) of Rp 49.58 trillion in Denpasar City in 2020.

The largest contributor to Denpasar City's economy comes from the accommodation and food service sector, amounting to Rp 10.56 trillion. This is equivalent to 21.3% of Denpasar City's total GRDP in the previous year.

Badung Regency is in second place with a GRDP at current prices (ADHB) of Rp 49.21 trillion in 2020. Buleleng Regency then has a GRDP at current prices (ADHB) of Rp 33.36 trillion.

The GRDP at current prices (ADHB) for Gianyar Regency and Tabanan Regency were Rp 25.91 trillion and Rp 22.33 trillion respectively. Karangasem Regency's GRDP at current prices (ADHB) was recorded at Rp 16.45 trillion.

Jembrana Regency has a GRDP at current prices (ADHB) of Rp 13.46 trillion. Meanwhile, the GRDP at current prices (ADHB) in Klungkung Regency and Bangli Regency were Rp 8.47 trillion and Rp 6.72 trillion respectively.

Furthermore, Badung Regency had the highest GRDP per capita in Bali in 2020, at Rp 72.04 million. This was followed by Denpasar City with a GRDP per capita of Rp 51.5 million.

Buleleng Regency had a GRDP per capita of Rp 50.24 million. Gianyar Regency then had a GRDP per capita of Rp 50.19 million.

The GRDP per capita in Tabanan Regency and Jembrana Regency were Rp 49.85 million and Rp 48.16 million respectively. Klungkung Regency's GRDP per capita was recorded at Rp 47.07 million.

Karangasem Regency had a GRDP per capita of Rp 39.31 million. Meanwhile, Bangli Regency's GRDP per capita was Rp 29.43 million.
