Central Java Food Prices Thursday (March 27th): Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (27/3/2025) at 14:18 WIB, out of 25 commodities, 15 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include Minyakita, chicken eggs, medium rice, farmer-level corn, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, packaged cooking oil, and table salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp3,079 (3.5%) to Rp91,041 per kg. Packaged wheat flour prices decreased the most, by Rp91 (0.78%) to Rp11,644 per kg.
