Current Food Prices in Jambi: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Sunday (10/11/2024) at 08.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased in price and 9 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, granulated sugar, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, medium rice, mackerel fish, simple packaged cooking oil, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,750 (12.31%) to Rp25,090 per kg. Iodized fine salt saw the sharpest price decrease of Rp590 (5.0%) to Rp11,210 per kg.
