Bali Food Price Update Today: Chicken and Salt Prices Drop (Friday, February 2, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (2/2/2024) at 14:30 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, dry soybean (import), premium rice, Indian mackerel, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as fine iodized salt, bulk wheat flour, pure beef, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna saw the highest increase, jumping Rp1,780 (8.14%) to Rp23,640 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp5,780 (8.68%) to Rp60,820 per kg.

6. Milkfish: Rp35,560 per kg (up 1.69%)
7. Garlic Cloves: Rp33,450 per kg (down 1.36%)
8. Red Onion: Rp27,750 per kg (down 3.68%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,240 per kg (down 4.32%)
10. Skipjack Tuna: Rp23,640 per kg (up 8.14%)
