West Java Food Prices Saturday (July 6th): Onion, Oil, and Sugar Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (6/7/2024) at 13.42 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, Indian mackerel, bulk cooking oil, SPHP rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, milkfish, packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, red cayenne pepper, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onion prices surged the highest by Rp420 (1.32%) to Rp32,150 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most sharply by Rp2,170 (5.86%) to Rp34,840 per kg.
