Today's Food Prices in Jakarta, DKI: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (23/5/2024) at 13.01 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include curly red chilies, premium rice, fine iodized salt, chicken eggs, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, medium rice, milkfish, shallots, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,270 (4.52%) to Rp52,440 per kg. Milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp1,190 (3.0%) to Rp38,440 per kg.
