Sumatera Selatan Food Prices Today: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (30/6/2024) at 12:48 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chilies, red chili peppers, medium rice, broiler chicken, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, skipjack tuna, shallots, garlic bulbs, and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili peppers saw the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,180 (3.02%) to Rp40,270 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of Indian mackerel saw the sharpest decrease, dropping Rp930 (2.86%) to Rp31,600 per kg.
