Latest Food Prices in Jakarta: Salt Up, Chilies Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (21/12/2024) at 14:19 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as kembung fish, tongkol fish, bandeng fish, whole garlic cloves, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) saw the highest price increase of Rp840 (6.76%), reaching Rp13,260 per kg. Kembung fish experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp3,260 (8.44%), reaching Rp35,350 per kg.

9. Kembung Fish: Rp35,350 per kg (down 8.44%)
