Latest Food Prices in Central Java: Salt Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (23/6/2024) at 12:55 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 17 commodities decreased in price.

The commodities that increased in price are iodized fine salt, broiler chicken meat, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), Indian mackerel, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp380 (3.31%), reaching Rp11,870 per kg. Milkfish experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp2,130 (6.59%), reaching Rp30,170 per kg.
