Current Food Prices in Jambi Region: Sugar and Chicken Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (24/12/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (curah), granulated sugar, chicken eggs, shallots, and red chilies (keriting).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, mackerel, shallots (bonggol), and red chilies (rawit) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies (keriting) experienced the highest price increase of Rp7,340 (21.14%), reaching Rp42,060 per kg. Meanwhile, red chilies (rawit) saw the largest price decrease of Rp1,810 (4.2%), reaching Rp41,280 per kg.
