Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices, Tuesday (July 16th): What's the Price of Chili Peppers?

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Tuesday (16/7/2024) at 12.07 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, and garlic bulbs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium-grain rice, simple packaged cooking oil, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of curly red chilies saw the highest increase, jumping Rp10,070 (23.52%) to Rp52,880 per kg. The price of milkfish experienced the largest decrease, falling Rp4,530 (10.37%) to Rp39,160 per kg.
