West Sumatra Food Prices Tuesday (December 10th): Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in West Sumatra today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 13.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, fine iodized salt, SPHP rice, and red onions decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp310 (5.9%) to Rp5,560 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili experienced the sharpest price decrease of Rp1,490 (3.81%) to Rp37,600 per kg.
