Daily Prices of Super Quality Rice at Traditional Markets, April 2024-2025

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of Super I quality rice in traditional markets in Central Java Province is recorded at Rp16,400. This price is unchanged from the previous day, and similarly, there has been no change in price over the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of Super I quality rice in traditional markets remains unchanged at Rp16,400.

Meanwhile, the daily price of Super I quality rice in traditional markets in Central Java over the past three months has decreased by 0.91%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of Super I quality rice in traditional markets in Central Java Province was traded at Rp16,550.

The highest recorded price increase for daily Super I quality rice in traditional markets in this province was in March 2020, with an increase of 7.3%, and the lowest decrease was also recorded in March 2020, with a decrease of -6.43%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Central Java show nine commodities decreased and 21 others increased. The basic commodities with price decreases are Super I Quality Rice, Inferior I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Medium I Quality Rice, Grade 2 Beef, Medium II Quality Rice, Grade 1 Beef, Beef, and Rice.
