Today's Food Prices in Bali March 06: Oil Rises, Onion Falls

Today, the prices of several food commodities in Bali were observed to decrease compared to yesterday.

Quoting data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Friday (March 6, 2026) at 13:56 WIB, out of 16 commodities, 2 commodities increased and 4 decreased.

The commodities that experienced price increases were bulk palm cooking oil and curly red chili.

Meanwhile, the prices of some commodities such as large red chili, shallots, broiler chicken meat, and red bird's eye chili decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk palm cooking oil had the highest increase of Rp111 (0.61%) to Rp18,304 per liter. As for shallots, the price dropped sharply by Rp408 (1.23%) to Rp32,728 per kg.

6. Shallots: Rp32,728 per kg (down 1.23%)
7. Honan Garlic: Rp32,000 per kg (unchanged)
8. Broiler Eggs: Rp28,493 per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,034 per liter (unchanged)
10. Bulk Palm Cooking Oil: Rp18,304 per liter (up 0.61%)
11. Bulk Granulated Sugar: Rp17,096 per kg (unchanged)
12. Minyakita: Rp15,678 per liter (unchanged)
13. Premium Rice: Rp15,173 per kg (unchanged)
