Latest Food Prices in Banten Region: Salt Up, Onions Down (Saturday, February 3, 2024)

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (February 3, 2024) at 09.03 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, and granulated sugar.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, dry soybean (import), and broiler chicken have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase of Rp2,060 (20.96%) to Rp11,890 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp4,640 (14.4%) to Rp27,590 per kg.
