Current Food Prices in Jambi Province: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (28/7/2024) at 12:33 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are curly red chilies, tongkol fish, kembung fish, garlic bulbs, and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, broiler chicken meat, shallots, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp1,850 (6.99%) to Rp28,310 per kg. Iodized fine salt had the largest price decrease of Rp340 (2.78%) to Rp11,880 per kg.
