Today's Food Price Update in Central Java: Beef and Onion Prices Drop (Saturday, January 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/1/2024) at 12:12 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, kembung fish, medium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as farmer-level corn, red chilies, granulated sugar, curly red chilies, and broiler chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase of Rp360 (3.04%) to Rp12,210 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp3,980 (11.74%) to Rp29,930 per kg.
