Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Oil Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (26/11/2024) at 17.52 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 2 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, red chilies, garlic bulbs, curly red chilies, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of simple packaged cooking oil saw the highest increase, jumping Rp910 (5.0%) to Rp19,110 per liter. Shallots saw the sharpest price drop, decreasing Rp930 (2.12%) to Rp42,910 per kg.
