Latest Food Prices in West Java: Egg and Onion Prices Rise

Prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (27/11/2024) at 15.22 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 6 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), mackerel, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as iodized fine salt, red chili peppers, broiler chicken, bulk wheat flour, and curly red chilies decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of chicken eggs saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp250 (0.95%) to Rp26,620 per kg. The price of iodized fine salt saw the largest decrease, dropping by Rp70 (0.68%) to Rp10,180 per kg.
