Food Prices in West Sumatra, Friday (26/9): Rice and Egg Prices Rise

Prices of several food items in West Sumatra today were observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (26/9/2025) at 15:05 WIB, out of 24 commodities, 13 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased.

The commodities with increased prices are skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, curly red chili, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as Minyakita cooking oil, dried soybean seeds (imported), pure beef, large red chili, and garlic bulbs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish surged the highest by Rp5,000 (11.11%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of large red chili dropped the deepest by Rp1,084 (1.56%) to Rp68,583 per kg.
