Red Chili Pepper Prices at Traditional Markets, May 2024-2025

Latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of red chili peppers in Gorontalo Province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp60,850. This price is up Rp850 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp87,100.

Meanwhile, the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in Gorontalo over the past three months has increased by 32.72% from a previous record of Rp45,850.

The record high for the daily price of red chili peppers in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in April 2019 with an increase of 144.78%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in April 2019 with a decrease of -54.25%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Gorontalo show 16 commodities decreased and five others increased. Basic commodities with price decreases include: Daily Bulk Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Grade 1 Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Sized Garlic, Daily Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Fresh Broiler Chicken in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Beef in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Red Chili Peppers in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Chicken Meat in Traditional Markets by Province, Medium-Sized Shallots, Daily Fresh Layer Eggs in Traditional Markets by Province, Daily Shallots in Traditional Markets by Province, Garlic, Daily Cooking Oil in Traditional Markets by Province, and Daily Local Granulated Sugar in Traditional Markets by Province.
