Today's Food Prices in Jambi: Chicken Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be higher compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (6/8/2024) at 10:53 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased in price and 8 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, shallots, granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, and dry soybean (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, premium rice, milkfish, bulk cooking oil, and pure beef decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Chicken meat prices surged the highest by Rp1,660 (5.55%) to Rp31,550 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most sharply by Rp940 (2.16%) to Rp42,490 per kg.
