Jakarta, DKI Region Food Prices Wednesday (11/12): Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (11/12/2024) at 15.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, red chilies, chicken eggs, medium-grain rice, and curly red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, skipjack tuna, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Curly red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,700 (4.82%), reaching Rp36,980 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,520 (4.06%), reaching Rp35,920 per kg.
