Central Java Food Prices Today: Salt Prices Rise, Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (24/10/2024) at 11:24 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, garlic bulbs, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, bulk cooking oil, pure beef, premium rice, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Fine iodized salt saw the highest price increase of Rp660 (6.03%), reaching Rp11,600 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price drop, decreasing by Rp560 (1.85%) to Rp29,680 per kg.
