Today's Food Prices in Jambi: Chili Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Friday (5/7/2024) at 08.41 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, red chilies, Indian mackerel, pure beef, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, broiler chicken, iodized fine salt, simple packaged cooking oil, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, by Rp1,320 (3.54%) to Rp38,640 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most, by Rp6,120 (17.35%) to Rp29,150 per kg.
