Today's Food Prices in Central Java: Egg, Rice, and Onion Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (6/5/2024) at 18.20 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 13 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, medium rice, chicken eggs, mackerel, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), curly red chilies, granulated sugar, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of corn at the farmer level increased the most by Rp70 (1.23%) to Rp5,760 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most by Rp5,460 (16.84%) to Rp26,970 per kg.
