Current Food Prices in Yogyakarta Special Region: Salt Prices Rise, Cooking Oil Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta, D.I. today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday, November 30th, 2024, at 10:13 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 9 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, bulk wheat flour, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, SPHP rice, garlic bulbs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp570 (4.95%) to Rp12,090 per kg. Milkfish experienced the sharpest price drop, falling by Rp1,240 (3.19%) to Rp37,610 per kg.
