Bali Food Prices Thursday (26/12): Cooking Oil Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (26/12/2024) at 10:56 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 4 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, skipjack tuna, broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, farmer-level corn, curly red chilies, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp660 (3.84%) to Rp17,830 per liter. Farmer-level corn saw the sharpest price drop of Rp290 (4.92%) to Rp5,610 per kg.
