Current Food Prices in Banten: Chili Prices Up, Onion Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday (6/7/2024) at 09.34 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 13 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, bulk wheat flour, premium rice, SPHP rice, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, pure beef, and iodized fine salt decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp6,040 (14.59%) to Rp47,430 per kg. The price of milkfish decreased the most by Rp5,120 (15.75%) to Rp27,390 per kg.
