West Java Food Price Update Today: Cooking Oil Price Up, Salt Price Down (Tuesday, January 30, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (30/1/2024) at 12:11 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include farmer-level corn, bulk cooking oil, granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, premium rice, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Packaged cooking oil saw the highest price increase, jumping by Rp170 (1.0%) to Rp17,100 per liter. Milkfish prices saw the lowest decrease, dropping by Rp290 (0.78%) to Rp37,120 per kg.
